Chai Tea Latte to the rescue

Oregon Trail ChaiFor all of the latte crazed individuals out there… Oregon Chai gives you a tea alternative to coffee lattes. I’ve been crazy-busy at work the past month. After working all day and night, Oregon Chai is helping me to wake up in the morning. I get the same satisfaction from this chai tea latte than I do a “coffee shop” latte prepared with coffee. The cool thing about this product is you just poor a half of cup of chai concentrate into a cup, and then you pour a half of cup of milk or soy in the same cup. I mix it up and heat it in the microwave. It couldn’t be any easier.

Ingredients:

Water, organic* evaporated cane juice, honey, organic* spices, organic* black tea, ginger, organic* vanilla, organic* natural flavors and citric acid. (*Organically grown and processed in accordance with the California Organic Food Act of 1990).

As you can see from the ingredients, it makes for a pretty flavorful beverage. If you would like to treat yourself to a sweet cup of chai latte, I highly recommend this. I know it’s not authentic, but as busy as I am right now it’s easy to make and it puts a smile on my face. The concentrate comes in a box with a lid at the top. It stores easily in the refrigerator after it is opened. It does have around 18g of sugar per serving, but I’m not counting at the moment. For all of the readers of marTEA.com that like authentic loose leaf tea, I’ll be writing about several soon. Right now, I know why the ready-to-drink tea industry is booming…that’s all I’ve had time to drink lately.
