Drinking tea on the go…
Saturday, May 15th, 2010My time has been limited lately. Ready-to-drink teas have been very important for my tea intake. I have been drinking a lot of bagged teas over the past few months – mainly to avoid cleanup and over-steeping. Having said that, loose leaf tea will always be my favorite. It’s just not always practical for people on the go. I’ve been looking at Teas Etc’s site trying to determine if the “Tea Traveler” is going to be a good fit for me to get back into the groove with loose leaf teas. I probably would have ordered it, but $8 shipping was more than I wanted to spend at the time. Anyway, just enjoy tea. If you can drink fresh, organic, loose leaf tea – do it. If you enjoy tea in a bottle or in a tea sachet/bag, don’t stop.

Marketing, gimmicks, and samples are not what I remember most when I leave the World Tea Expo. To me, it’s all about the tea. From the people that farm it, the owners that manage it, the businesses that sell it, the people that prepare it, and the relationships created by the tea experience – that’s what I remember about the World Tea Expo.
Here’s another outstanding tea selection from Revolution. The peach flavoring and ginger root blend very well with the Assam and Ceylon full-leaf black tea. I find this one to be a great wake-me-up in the morning. The black tea gives me just the right boost of caffeine and L-theanine that I need to wake up and focus on the day. The ginger and peach flavors get my senses going. It’s hard to eat or drink anything that tastes like a peach and be in a bad mood.
